Emily is a Licensed, Registered & Nationally Board Certified Art Therapist with over a decade of experience in the field. Emily received a BFA from Pratt Institute and a MA from New York University. After a six-month stint living in Japan, Emily became fascinated with mindfulness and meditation. She went on to write her Masters Thesis on Mindfulness & Attachment Theory.

Emily holds over two-years of intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) from the Treatment Implementation Collaborative with Dr. Shari Manning, PhD and was invited to be an internal DBT trainer for the Office of Mental Health. To deepen her education, Emily completed an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course through Mindful Harlem and over 200+ hours of continuing education and training in modalities such as; Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Couples Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Neuroscience and Expressive Therapies.

Emily has held positions as a Clinical Internship Supervisor affiliated with NYU, Group Therapy Leader, Primary Therapist, and Art Therapist. Past employment includes; The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorder Treatment, New Hope Mental Health Counseling Center, New York City Children's Center and Bronx Psychiatric Center. Graduate clinical experience includes the Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services and Four Winds Hospital. Emily creates space for honesty, creativity and curiosity in a nurturing environment. Corporate Wellness clients include: The Giorgio Armani Corporation, Net@Work, Wix, The Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights and The Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH).

ALEXANDRA WHICKER, M.S., ATR-BC, LCAT

Alexandra (Alex) Whicker is a Trauma-Informed Licensed, Registered & Nationally Board Certified Art Therapist. She received a BA from Converse College in Art Therapy & Psychology and a MA from Long Island University in Clinical Creative Arts Therapy & Counseling. She is is currently on track to receive an additional MA in Mental Health Counseling and will pursue dual licensure.

Alex completed training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) through the Medical University of South Carolina, a week-long intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with Lane Pederson, Psy. D and receives ongoing DBT-informed mentoring within the practice. Alex was selected to participate in a year-long training program focusing on the integration of creative therapies with trauma-informed practices through the Kint Training Institute.

Alex has experience working with a range of populations including adults with anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and human trafficking. She’s also extensively worked with children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders. Alex creates a space for individuals to explore and express themselves authentically and safely. She encourages and supports her clients to gain insight and foster personal growth as they work towards achieving their goals. She is passionate about supporting those who are undergoing transitions within their lives and working towards being the self they deserve to be.


ROBYN OLDS, M.P.S, ATR-BC, LCAT

Robyn is a Licensed, Registered & Board Certified Art Therapist and Advanced Reiki Practitioner. She received a B.A. from The College of Santa Fe in Psychology and Creative Arts Therapy (rooted in a Jungian / Humanistic perspective) and a Master's degree from Pratt Institute in Creative Arts Therapy and Creativity Development.

Robyn recently completed a week-long intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with Lane Pederson, Psy. D and receives ongoing DBT-informed mentoring within the practice. She has experience in private practice with adults and adolescents coping with Anxiety, ADHD/ADD, Depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. She also has experience working with the unique needs of LGBTQIA clients who are going through the coming out process or dealing with the familial and cultural pressures of silence. 

Over the last 20 years, Robyn has worked in multiple settings. Through her unique training and experience as an advanced Reiki Practitioner and Creative Arts Therapist, she incorporates her understanding of the energetic body with the creative process to encourage the innate wisdom and wholeness of each unique client.

Robyn promotes an embodied self- awareness approach through the use of guided visualization, grounding exercises, non judgmental / empathic listening, evidence-based coping skills and art-making. Robyn helps clients express, contain and accept the richness and texture of feeling states and gently challenges habitual thoughts and  beliefs that may inhibit joy, relatedness, and growth.
