Emily Davenport, M.A., ATR-BC, LCAT is a Licensed, Registered & Nationally Board Certified Art Psychotherapist with a decade of experience helping individuals in and outside of the corporate world.
Emily received her BFA from Pratt Institute and her MA from New York University. Emily holds over two-years of intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) under Dr. Shari Manning Ph.D. with the Treatment Implementation Collaborative. As a mindfulness-informed practitioner, Emily has participated in meditation retreats in New York and Japan and currently holds a mediation practice.
In addition to her above mentioned training and credentials, Emily holds over 100+ hours of continuing education and training in modalities such as; Relational Life Therapy (RLT), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Trauma-Informed Care.
Emily has held positions as a Clinical Supervisor, Primary Therapist, Group Therapist, and Art Therapist at institutions such as; The Renfrew Center for Eating Disorder Treatment, New Hope Mental Health Counseling Center, New York City Children's Center and Bronx Psychiatric Center. Graduate clinical Internship experience includes the Jewish Board of Family & Children's Services and Four Winds Hospital.
Emily is currently in private practice in Midtown Manhattan where she sees individuals and couples in and outside of the corporate world.
