DBT SKILLS IN THE WORKPLACE
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that focuses on decreasing the frequency and severity of unwanted behaviors, increasing personal strengths and translating healthy coping skills into a person’s everyday life. DBT is a type of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that emphasizes practical skills training under the following categories (among other components) such as Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal Effectiveness and Mindfulness.
