I bring my experience as an Art Therapist, and mother of three, to offer parent coaching and therapy for parents. I guide parents closer to a connected authentic relationship with themselves and their children. I’m passionate about instilling hope, breaking unhelpful cycles, and carving a better path forward.

  • Registered Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC)

  • Certified Nurtured Heart Trainer, The Nurtured Heart institute with Milton Glasser

  • 300-Hours of training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), the Treatment Implementation Collaborative

  • 14-years of experience working with children, teens. parents and families.

  • Therapy for parents is a clinical service that provides therapeutic support for parents looking to address anxiety, depression, toxic stress, unhelpful relationship patterns, or trauma. Therapy for parents is conducted with one parent alone (not both). Therapy is a deeper dive into the root cause of distress, while finding ways to build resilience and increase self-compassion. Therapy is more than solving problems. It’s a healing journey to rediscover your authentic self. Motherhood is a journey of self-discovery filled with moments of joy, challenges, and growth. I provide holistic therapy for moms within a safe and professional space where you can explore your inner world, cultivate self-compassion, and reconnect with your authentic self. Therapy with me is typically 6 months +.

  • Parent coaching is when one or both parents meet with a professional coach to address issues or stressors related to parenting. Parent coaching is short term, solution focused, and does not address underlying mental health concerns. Parent Coaching stays in the present. This non-judgmental coaching setting, I use psychoeducation and evidence-based strategies to navigate parenting Issues related to their children. Parent Coaching is typically 4-8 sessions.

    At its core, parent coaching aims to enhance the parent-child relationship. Through more effective communication techniques, empathy-building exercises, and conflict-resolution strategies, parents learn to connect with their children more deeply.

  • Parent Coaching focuses primarily on the relationship between the parent and child. It is short-term, solution-focused, goal oriented and stays in the present. Parent coaching does not treat mental health issues.

    Therapy for parents is typically more in-depth and places emphasis on how past experiences affect present day parenting. Therapy for parents can address and treat mental health issues and offer effective treatment for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and PTSD.
