I’m Emily Davenport, a New York Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, Board-Certified Art Therapist, author, and mother of three.

I hold extensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Art Therapy, and EMDR for anxiety and trauma treatment.

My approach to therapy is informed by 15-years of experience in trauma-informed, creative, and evidence-based treatments.

    Creative writing, drawing, and painting will help you heal anxiety and trauma from the inside out.

    Breath work, and guided visualizations helps you regulate stress and feel more safe in your body.

  • We’ll used Evidence-Based Techniques:

    We’ll engage in therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy-a safe and effective way to relieve trauma and anxiety symptoms in addition to learning DBT Skills.

  • No. There are various ways that I infuse creativity into session such as with guided visualizations and creative writing if art making is not ‘your thing’.
